The compassionate health care professionals at Schnurmacher Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing are highly experienced in caring for the special needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. Our skilled team of doctors, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and other specialists work together to develop an individualized plan of care for each patient.
We have a designated floor for individuals with dementia where our staff assist them with daily living activities such as bathing, eating and toileting, as well as providing them with specialized recreational activities in a friendly and spacious environment. Schnurmacher also has an innovative music therapy program that offers patients the opportunity to participate in sessions designed to promote wellness and enhance memory.
