A Warm Welcome

For more than three decades, Schnurmacher Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing has embraced each of our residents with compassionate care and individualized treatment. Upon admission, each resident is assigned their own team of medical, rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation, nutrition, and social services professionals who coordinate all aspects of their care. Our diverse staff speak many languages and understand cultural differences.

Schnurmacher provides a warm, friendly environment for our long-term care residents. Our experienced, qualified staff focus on providing residents with person-directed care by offering them choices, respecting their preferences, and involving them in decisions regarding their care.

Many specialty medical services are available including pain management, dementia care and wound care, with a certified wound care nurse. Therapeutic recreation activities abound and there is something for everyone -- from crafts and music to cooking, choruses and religious services for all faiths.
